Congrats Stephanie and Julian!

What a super fabulous weekend! We started things off celebrating with Stephanie and Julian at Turner's Rock. It was a beautiful celebration of friends, family, and love at their rehearsal dinner. You guys are so blessed to have a wonderful support group.

Here's a picture of the beautiful place settings they had. Everything was perfect (except the defunct slideshow -- but the stories that your friends and family told about you were priceless).

I realized Saturday morning that my cell phone had gone missing from the night before. Must have been a great party! Ha! So, I guess I'll be making an emergency trip to Verizon today.

Things didn't go exactly as planned and we were running ebhind most of the day, but that's how weddings go. You plan and then something goes askew. We were prepared and just kept shifting things around. It's so important to be flexible and understand that in the end it's about the experience. You can't script the day and sometimes you just have to go with the flow.

Stephanie and the girls had their hair and makeup done at Salon Della Vita.

Getting ready at the Mulberry Inn on Bay Street.

We were running several hours behind but we managed to squeeze in some beautiful, relaxed portaits on the way to the limo to the church.

Sweet picture with the two of the most adorable flower girls.

Newlyweds.... finally! Mr and Mrs. Julain Bass.

First dance at the courtyard of the Mulberry Inn. It was a gorgeous night and their first dance got everyone in the mood for some fun.

Julian and his best friend/man, Ellis show us all how to show out on the dance floor.

The girls were so much fun and up for anything.

This week I had the pelasure of hosting some YPS members in the studio to make some branding and identity images for their website and upcoming promotional materials. It was a lot of fun and a good time for everyone.

In case you haven't heard, YPS has alot of exciting things in the upcoming months. For a complete schedule and details please visit YPS onlien at www.ypsav.net. On December 14th, YPS will host a Holiday Social at 514 West. This will be a Toys for Tots event so please remember to bring your unopened toy for a wonderful cause. Also in January, YPS will be hosting an Oyster Roast on Daufuski Island at Freeport. If you've never been to Daufuski Island, it's a real treat to see such a beautiful landscape right here in the coastal empire. The views are breathtaking in their simplicity. Aimee and Brian

Aimee and Brian will be getting married next Saturday at Brian's family farm in Rocky Ford. It's such a beautiful location with ponds, an old barn, grape orchard, and pecan trees. I hear they are making their own wine for the wedding. I'm so excited to be apart of Aimee and Brian's celebration!

Check back later this week for images of their custom guest book. These are really very cool and unique way to use your enaggement session pictures. Each book is press printed with a linen or leather cover. Pages are custom designed in a magazine layout leaving space for your guests to sign around the layouts.

Here's some of our favorite moments from the engagement session a few weeks back:

Stephanie and Julian

I met Stephanie and Julian at the Isle of Hope this past week to photograph some enegagement pictures for them. What a beautiful day with bright blue skies! This is my favorite time of year on the Coast.

Stephanie and Julian are getting married in a few weeks -- we can't wait to share in their celebration and photograph some really wonderful moments. I already know that it's going to be one of our favorite weddings of the year!

Julian grew up on the Isle of Hope which made the Bluff such a perfect location. We borrowed a family friend's backyard and dock for these images --

Fun with sunflare

Love this one from the floating dock

At the Bluff -- love, love, LOVE how at ease and relaxed these two are with the camera. Beautiful!

Michelle -- A Very Special Rock Star Senior!

I was so excited to be able to photograph Michelle this past weekend. Michelle contacted me a few months ago about her senior pictures. As she described to me, she didn't want the typical "smile next to your high school jersey" type photographs. Well, I think we accomplished some really cool stuff that falls in every category but that one! Ha! =)

Michelle and her wonderful parents drove down from Blairsville, Georgia (10 miles from the Tennessee border) for the session. I feel so blessed to have clients that love my work so much that they will make that kind of commute! Michelle will graduate in the spring and is an aspiring photographer. I know we will keep in touch and that she will have great things ahead of her.

YPS Turns 1!

On Friday the 13th, we celebrated the 1 Year Anniversary of Young Professionals of Savannah! In addition, we welcomed more new members and crossed the 100 member milestone.

Christi, Katy and the rest of the organizers did an awesome job collecting giveaways from local businesses. Everybody wanted these hot red shoes from Monkee's:

Lauren LaPointe was also there! If you haven't checked her live show or current CD out, you should definately do so. She has a beautiful, smooth voice that you won't soon forget. You can see her out at the Sentient Bean on October 19th. Click over to her website and show her music some love www.laurenlapointe.com/

Jamie and Jarrod Tie the Knot Charleston Style!

I recieved a call awhile back from Jamie from Kentucky. She and her then fiancee were planning their wedding and decided to turn their family vacation into a destination wedding! It was alot of fun spending the day with them from the early morning engagement session, through the day as they prepared to get married, and then through the evening as they made it official!

Jamie is a strikingly beautiful woman with the most amazing green eyes.

Their family spent the week at the Isle of Palm just northeast of Charleston. The morning was beautiful with cool breezy temperature -- we really couldn't have asked for a better day! I love the beaches in SC and it makes me miss the time I use to spend there. Can you even believe how blue the sky is here!

Here are some of the fabulous images we made in downtown Charleston:

Congrats to Brittany and Dusty!

On October 7th we travelled back to Brooklet and Statesboro to celebrate the wedding of Brittany and Dusty. Brittany had beautiful terra cotta colored roses in her bouquet. So beautiful -- just like the bride.
